Terms

The rules for using Glimmer, from LunarWerx LLC.

Updated 15 October 2026.

Who we are

Glimmer is run by LUNARWERX LLC, a Missouri company in the USA. We call it LunarWerx, or we. These terms are the deal between LunarWerx and each person who uses Glimmer.

Some words mean one thing here:

  • Community: a game server or group that uses Glimmer.
  • Owner: the person who buys a community's plan.
  • Staff: the people a community lets read its cases.
  • Player: a person a community asks to run a scan.
  • Case: one scan's report, and what staff and the player do with it.

What Glimmer is

Glimmer checks a player's PC once, when staff ask. It sends a list of findings to the community's staff. Then it closes.

It is not always on. It has no driver. It lets no one take over the PC. It uploads no files.

No scanner finds every cheat. A finding is a reason to look closer. It is not proof by itself. A clean result means the checks that ran found nothing at that time. A report says what it could not check. More on this: How it works.

Rules for staff

  • Ask a player to scan only for fair play in your game.
  • Tell the player why you ask. Asked to run a scan? is written for them.
  • Never let a report ban someone on its own. A person on your staff decides.
  • Read each appeal and answer it.
  • Show cases only to the staff who need them.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself.
  • Do not use Glimmer to learn things about a person that have nothing to do with the game.
  • Do not use a case to harass or shame anyone.

Your community makes its own calls. It is in charge of what it tells players and of its own records.

Rules for everyone

  • Do not attack Glimmer, take it apart, or try to get around its checks.
  • Do not use a code or key that is not yours.
  • Do not copy Glimmer's program, rules or pages. They belong to LunarWerx. What your community makes stays yours.

For players

  • Your community asks you to scan. It decides what happens if you do not.
  • You can read your own case with the access key your staff gave you.
  • You can appeal on your case. It is free.
  • Your community's staff decide your case, not LunarWerx. Glimmer bans no one.
  • How we handle your data: Privacy.

Plans and payment

  • Every community starts with a trial: one game, ten scans or fourteen days. No card.
  • A paid plan covers the games you pick, monthly or yearly. The owner buys it from the staff dashboard.
  • A one-day pass covers one game for one day. It does not renew.
  • Prices are on Pricing.
  • Stripe takes the payment. A monthly or yearly plan renews through Stripe.
  • A full refund ends the plan it paid for. Ask about a refund on the Glimmer Discord.
  • When a plan or trial ends, its cases are kept. A new plan opens them again.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by the Glimmer Refund Policy.

Switching credit

Switching from another anti-cheat? Send us the receipt for your current plan while it is still running. We credit the months left on it, up to 12 months, as time on Glimmer for the same games. One claim per account. Claim it on the Glimmer Discord or by email to glimmer@lunarwerx.com.

Ending

  • You can stop using Glimmer at any time.
  • To have your community's data deleted, ask on the Glimmer Discord. We do it by hand.
  • We may stop or close an account that breaks these terms.

What we do not promise

  • Glimmer is given as it is.
  • It may be down at times, for upkeep or a fault. A report that never arrives is not a clean result.
  • We may change Glimmer's rules and program to catch new cheats or fix wrong ones.
  • As far as the law allows, LunarWerx is not to blame for what a community decides about a player.

The law

These terms follow the law of Missouri, USA.
